Production নিৰ্মাণ

Gouri Shankar Himmatsingka produced the film for Barua Art Production, and Nip Barua directed it as his first feature.

Brajen Baruah composed the music, his first assignment as a music director. The film had seven songs, two of them in Hindi, the first Hindi songs to appear in an Assamese film. Given the popularity of Hindi film music at the time, the choice had a commercial logic. Bihu dance had appeared briefly in the earlier film Runumi, but Smritir Parash was the first to include a complete Bihu song with its dance.

Reception সমালোচনা

Several of the film's songs became very popular when it was released.

Legacy
