Story কাহিনী
After his first wife dies, Pradip brings Dipali into his house. He leaves his four-month-old son Monti in her care, and she takes the baby to her heart as her own. The whole family praises the new bride. Some days later Dipali has a daughter, Maina.
The happy home is upset when Pradip's friend Balen returns to town after some years as a contractor in NEFA. Under Balen's influence Pradip takes to drink and gambling, trouble starts at home, and household belongings are sold to pay for his habits. Eventually Dipali has to take Maina and go back to her father's house. Pradip, thinking of her as a stepmother, does not let Monti go with her.
Monti and Dipali cannot stay apart, though, and Monti keeps finding his way to her despite Pradip's many threats. In the end Pradip reforms and vows to give up drink and gambling. Dipali returns to her own home with Monti and Maina.
