Story কাহিনী

Ramesh, a decent and loving man, loses his wife Bulu suddenly on a trip. Before this, he tells Bulu he must travel to Calcutta on official work, and since she has never been there she asks to come along. They leave their two children, Jitu and Jina, with their grandmother and the servant Ligira Dhapas. After enjoying Calcutta they go on to Darjeeling, where Bulu dies unexpectedly. Heartbroken, Ramesh returns home, tells the children their mother is ill in hospital, and resolves not to marry again so he can raise them himself.

Ramesh is later transferred to Calcutta. One day the children wander out and are overwhelmed by the city. Jitu has an accident and is taken to hospital, while Jina is kidnapped by a ruffian. With the help of their loyal Alsatian dog, the father finds Jina, and Jitu recovers and comes home.

Ramesh comes to see that the children badly need a mother and that a father alone cannot meet this need, and he finally decides to remarry.
