Story কাহিনী

A woman named Papori is the centre of the story. Her husband Binod is wrongly arrested for her murder, a smuggler rapes Papori, and the husband is convicted. Phukan, a police inspector, finds the real murderer but cannot arrest him because he enjoys political protection. During this time Papori's daughter is taken to hospital and eventually dies.

Barua wrote and directed the film, produced by Sailadhar Baruah, with cinematography by Binod Pradhan. Gopi Desai plays Papori, Sushil Goswami plays Binod and Biju Phukan the inspector, with Chetana Das and Dulal Roy.
