Story কাহিনী
Kukoi is an imaginative, intelligent eleven-year-old who runs away from his village home and takes a job in a motor garage in the city. One day the owner tries to molest him. In self-defence Kukoi strikes him with an iron rod and kills him.
Produced before a court, Kukoi is sent to a state juvenile home, where he is traumatised. The warden, Biswa Boro, is an understanding man who gently coaxes the true story out of the boy. The magistrate orders Kukoi released into the custody of his parents or a guardian. When Biswa travels to the boy's village he learns that Kukoi's mother died years ago and his stepfather has disowned him. Biswa, now retired and childless, decides to adopt him.
