Story কাহিনী
Rudraprasad Baruah is stern outside and soft within, and fiercely proud of his family's past. No one at home may go against his word. His brother Hemanta had to leave and live in rented rooms after marrying a girl of slightly lower standing, and when his eldest son Jayanta also wished to marry Pratima, Baruah stood in the way.
Then Biju arrives, nephew of both Rudraprasad and Hemanta. A lively, mischievous young man who had gone away to take a film course, he lost his mother young and grew up on his uncle and aunt's affection. He talks the stern uncle into letting Jayanta marry Pratima, makes him bring Hemanta back into the main house, and cleverly rescues Rudraprasad's younger son Digant from a drug mafia. Just as the household settles into happiness, the family learns that Biju has incurable cancer and little time left. Keeping his illness secret so as not to hurt anyone, he plans to spend his last days away from home. Biju dies, but he lives on in the hearts of those close to him.
