The film follows Baikuntha, who drives a hearse, along with three college students and two policemen. A bag stuffed with cash sets the whole story in motion and ties their lives together.

The message the film leaves is that whatever route people take to fulfil their desires, they finally receive only what the law of consequence allows them.

Reception সমালোচনা

In 2024 the film was selected for the mainstream cinema section of the 55th International Film Festival of India. To mark the news it was re-released on 29 November 2024 in theatres across Assam, including Guwahati, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Mangaldai and Dhemaji.

It was claimed to be the first film from North-East India officially selected for that section, but regional critics pointed out that Ashok Kumar Bishaya's 1998 hit Jouboney Amoni Kore had earlier been the first selection in that category from Assam and the North-East.
