Production নিৰ্মাণ

Garg conceived and wrote the story and composed the music. Director Rajesh Bhuyan has said the project was in development for nearly three years before Garg's death in September 2025. By then most of the film had been completed, and only some background score remained, which Garg was due to compose after returning from Singapore. Poran Borkotoky was brought in to finish the score, while Garg's own voice recordings are retained with only light restoration where necessary.

The production companies were Zeal Creations and Eye Creation. The title comes from a song of the same name on Garg's 1998 album Sobdo. The cast includes Mousumi Alifa, Joy Kashyap, Achurjya Borpatra, Victor Banerjee, Dhritiman Phukan and Angoorlata Deka, with archive footage and special appearances by several singers.

Reception সমালোচনা

The film had a wide theatrical release and has been reported as the highest grossing Assamese film of 2025 and of all time, ahead of Bidurbhai. After Garg's death, the Assam government announced that its share of the Goods and Services Tax collected on the film would go to the Kalaguru Artiste Foundation, the charity he founded to support medical treatment for artistes, flood victims and needy students.

Legacy

Presented by its makers as a tribute to Garg's legacy as actor, writer, director and composer, the film is his last contribution to Assamese cinema.
