Story কাহিনী

Asim Dutta takes a job as assistant manager at a spinning mill, where he meets the corrupt manager Bhabendra Barthakur and a careless employee named Juri. When Juri loses an important set of documents, Asim loses his temper with her, only to learn later that another employee, Sunita, had destroyed them. He apologises to Juri, and a love begins to grow between them.

As time passes, Asim learns some dark facts about Juri's past, while false stains from his own past come to light. The relationship cracks and the two drift far apart. Barthakur, a predatory man who has ruined many women, has long had an eye on Juri. Broken in spirit, she goes to him, which is exactly the chance he was waiting for.

Another woman, Sheela, is Barthakur's lover and is betrayed by him, and one day she shoots him dead. The police suspect Asim, who goes into hiding. He comes to Juri at midnight and tells her he is innocent, but she does not believe him and quietly hands him over to the police. When Sheela confesses to Juri that she is the killer, Juri is overcome by madness and remorse, and goes in search of Asim. He has fallen ill in body and mind and is in hospital. Juri reaches the hospital only to find his lifeless body covered by a white sheet.
