Story কাহিনী

The story is set in Mayong, a place famed for its magic and sorcery. Arnab Bora, a middle-aged man played by Kapil Bora, is posted there as a revenue officer. Taken by the beauty of the place, he meets Beena, the wife of a villager, and the two begin a secret affair.

Arnab tries to bring modern ideas to a region steeped in superstition, but the villagers cannot let go of their old traditions. Then Beena dies from an illness she had long kept hidden, and Arnab loses any wish to remain there.
