Story কাহিনী
Madhukrisha, the youngest of three unmarried brothers, takes an MBA and goes to West Bengal for work. There he falls in love with Mukta, the daughter of a rich man, and the two elope. Afraid his parents will not accept the match, Madhu hides Mukta at home as a maid. While he is away, his parents discover that Mukta is pregnant and decide to dismiss her. When Madhu returns he has to admit she is his wife. His mother, who is fond of Mukta, scolds him for making his wife a servant, and the parents happily accept her as their daughter-in-law.

Production নিৰ্মাণ
Mani C. Kappan of Okay Productions directed and produced the film, remaking his own 1993 Malayalam success Meleparambil Aanveedu, with the Assamese filmmaker Manju Borah as advisor. Kappan announced the project at a Guwahati press conference on 10 August 2012, saying that the cultures of Kerala and Assam are similar. About sixty percent of the dialogue is Assamese and the remainder Bengali, with each language subtitled in the other. The cast features Utpal Das, Debasmita Banerjee, Nipon Goswami and Bishnu Kharghoria. The film is dedicated to Bhupen Hazarika.
Reception সমালোচনা
It was meant to open on 19 October 2012 but was postponed to 2 November because theatres were unavailable. A premiere show was held on 30 October 2012 at Anuradha Cineplex, Guwahati.
Legacy
It is recorded as the first Assamese film made by a production house based in South India.
