Zubeen Garg directed the film and also composed its music. Debo Borkotoky is credited as producer, and the film was released on 25 February 2000, on the same day as Hiya Diya Niya, which also starred Jatin Bora.

The soundtrack has 10 songs, including a theme piece, with lyrics by Zubeen Garg and Diganta Bharati. All of the songs remain popular. The tenth track is a bonus song that does not appear in the film and was taken from Hiya Diya Niya, and an eleventh track is a hidden one not listed on the CD or cassette.
