Son Moina

Moina is the youngest son of a middle-class family. Unemployed and weak at studies, he is nevertheless loved by his neighbours for his readiness to help, and he is a good cricketer with dreams of becoming a great one.

His sister's marriage is fixed, but his employed brothers refuse to help with money, so his father decides to sell the family house. Then Moina reads in the newspaper that a rich man's daughter needs a kidney and that her father will pay well. A donor can live normally afterwards but cannot do hard physical work. Moina must choose between a sporting career and helping the girl. In the end he gives up his dream so he can pay for his sister's wedding and save the family home.
