Bristi

Bristi (1974) is a black-and-white Assamese film directed by the playwright Deuti Barua for Joyshree Productions. Though chiefly a love story, it draws on middle-class ideals and conflicts and on the corruption and educated unemployment of its time. Bishnu Kharghoria made his film acting debut in it.

বৃষ্টি ১৯৭৪ চনত মুক্তি পোৱা এখন ক’লা-বগা অসমীয়া ছবি, জয়শ্ৰী প্ৰডাকছনৰ বেনাৰত নাট্যকাৰ দেউতি বৰুৱাই পৰিচালনা কৰা। মূলতঃ প্ৰেমৰ ছবি হ’লেও মধ্যবিত্তীয় আদৰ্শ আৰু সংঘাতৰ লগতে সমকালীন অসমৰ দুৰ্নীতি আৰু শিক্ষিত নিবনুৱাৰ ক্ষোভ ইয়াত ফুটি উঠিছে। এই ছবিৰ জৰিয়তে বিষ্ণু খাৰঘৰীয়াই চলচ্চিত্ৰ অভিনয় আৰম্ভ কৰিছিল।
