Production নিৰ্মাণ

Anowar Hussain directed, produced and wrote the story. Padma Barkataki and Sarbananda wrote the dialogue. The film was shot at New Theatres Studio No. 2 in Calcutta, with sound recorded in the RCA system. It was the first Assamese film to release a trailer for publicity.

The cast included Anupama Bhattacharya, Bimal Nath, Malaya Das, Bina Das, Budhin Sarma, Bibhuti Chakrabarty, Sarbananda Pathak, Geeta Bhattacharya, Kalpana Roy and Hemen Choudhury, along with West Bengal performers Nitish Mukherjee, Padma Devi, Tapati Ghosh and Arun Kumar.

Music is credited to Tridhara, though some sources name Mukul Barua and Rajeshwar Bardoloi as the composers. The singers were Sewali Devi, Mihir Bardoloi, Jyotirmoy Kakati and Mukul Barua.

In Anuwar Hussain's filmography, Natun Prithibi came after Sarapat (1956) and was followed by Tezimola (1963) and Paap aru Praischitta (1977).
