Amit tries to find work, but BUG Da, who has been secretly watching them, sabotages every attempt.

The couple decide to marry secretly in court. Donnie hires thugs to break it up, BUG Da drugs their food, and a fight follows. Maya joins in, Donnie has a change of heart and Maya's father drives off the thugs and finally approves. The couple marry in court with their families present.

Kenny Deori Basumatary directed this comedy in his Local Kung Fu line of films. The actor and martial artist Vidyut Jammwal gave financial support, and a Hindi dub was planned.

Kalpa Jyoti Bhuyan of The News Mill wrote that the film is about local dreams, local love stories and local successes and failures as much as about its action, while a critic at Northeast Today praised its compact screenplay and mix of action and comedy, while noting some loose moments.
