Goru

The film was produced by Gita Pathak under the Crayon Tree Productions banner and directed by Himanshu Prasad Das. The screenplay, adapted from Shahjahan's short story "Goru", was written by the author himself, the director, and Uday Bhaskar Pator. Music was composed by Palash Surya Gogoi. The cast listed in the archive includes Pakija Begum, Baharul Islam, Arun Nath, Chandan Das, Lonishri Das, Kamal Lochan and Pranjal Saikia.

The film has five songs. One of them, "Dhikkar Ei Jiwan", was separately recorded in the voices of Angarag Papon Mahanta and Himanshu Prasad Das. The song album was released on 19 January 2020.

The release was originally set for 24 January 2020 and then moved to 1 May of that year, but the Covid lockdown that began in March 2020 prevented it. The makers then chose to skip regular cinemas and show the film in public and temporary venues. It was released at the Kumar Bhaskar Natya Mandir in Guwahati on 22 January 2021, and from 23 January it was shown at similar venues across Assam.
