Himanshu Prasad Das is a poet, lyricist, composer, playwright, actor and director from Assam, closely associated with the state's amateur and professional theatre. Born in 1982 at Amranga Barihat in southern Kamrup, he studied at Cotton College and graduated from the National School of Drama, Delhi, in 2008. His recitation of the poem Ei Suwali Ebar Bhal Pai Saba Neki became widely popular.
His first film as director is Shakira Ahibo Bokultolor Bihuloi (2017), in which he also appears. Our database also credits him as director of Goru (2021) and as a cast member in Paani (2014).

ছাকিৰা আহিব বকুলতলৰ বিহুলৈ (২০১৭) তেওঁ পৰিচালনা কৰা প্ৰথমখন অসমীয়া চলচ্চিত্ৰ, য'ত তেওঁ অভিনয়ো কৰিছে। আমাৰ তথ্যভাণ্ডাৰত গৰু (২০২১) ছবিৰ পৰিচালক আৰু পানী (২০১৪) ছবিৰ অভিনেতা হিচাপেও তেওঁৰ নাম আছে।
