Gaane Ki Aane

The story follows Nilabh Jonak Baruah, a musical superstar played by Zubeen Garg, and the love and challenges that shape his life.

The film was released on 14 October 2016 and produced under the Raga Films banner by Gautam Chakraborty, Sunil Gogoi and Rajesh Jashpal. Jashpal also directed and wrote the story, with Ebson Lal Baruah as co-writer of the screenplay. Pradip Daimary was the cinematographer. Achintya Sankar was chief associate director and Manas Chagra associate director, and publicity design was by Dreamz Features.

Besides Garg and Borthakur, the cast includes Nipon Goswami, Hiranya Deka, Rimpi Das, Rina Bora, Rajesh Jashpal and Himagni Gogoi. Shooting took place in several locations, among them Assam and Mumbai. Garg has himself acknowledged that the story has a good deal in common with his own life.

Garg composed the songs and the background score. The lyrics are by Garg, Hiren Bhattacharyya and Sashanka Samir, and the title song is a remake of a Hiren Bhattacharyya number from Garg's album Anamika. Anurag Saikia arranged the music for two of the songs. The audio album was unveiled on 13 March 2015 at Shraddhanjali Kanan in Guwahati. The song "Salikee Puwar", written by Garg, has been called one of the finest pieces of his career.
