Story কাহিনী
Ganapati is a wealthy farmer and a symbol of the feudal order. His buffalo always wins the Magh Bihu buffalo fights, thanks to careful training. One year it loses to the buffalo of Bhogai, a man from a so-called lower caste, and Ganapati resolves to restore his pride. His only daughter Moina disapproves, and she is quietly fond of Bhogai.
To pay for his sick father's treatment, Bhogai sells his buffalo to Hafiz, who sells it on to Ganapati. Ganapati begins training the animal, which Bhogai dislikes, and Bhogai's father then dies.
When Magh Bihu arrives Bhogai, with no buffalo of his own, goes only to watch. The buffalo he sold keeps losing for Ganapati, until Bhogai cannot bear to see it humiliated and brings it back to the field. This time Ganapati wins, though the victory is really Bhogai's, and Ganapati proudly claims it and prepares to take the animal home. Moina knows the truth, and she takes the buffalo and hands it back to Bhogai. Ashamed, Ganapati walks away.
