Story কাহিনী
Balaram, a farmer, carves two plough beams from his farm, one for himself and one for his brother-in-law. Maghi Mahajan, a moneylender who has grown rich by cheating the poor, demands a plough, and when Balaram refuses, he storms off with a curse that Balaram's own fields will go hungry.
Dhoroka, an eager young man who works on the farm and loves Balaram's daughter Lily, sends one finished plough to the brother-in-law. While the half-finished one lies on the threshing floor, the moneylender has it stolen by Someshwar, a man who owes Balaram many favours but is pressured with the threat of losing his homestead. Lily blames Dhoroka, who vows to find the real thief, and he discovers the plough hidden at the moneylender's house.
Balaram plans to accuse the moneylender before the villagers on the day of the village bhaona, but the plough has been moved by then. After the performance Balaram confronts Someshwar in the village shop. Someshwar sees his mistake, pulls the plough out from under a culvert, and a crowd of children follows him shouting for the thief to be caught, with even the moneylender's small son joining in.
