Barsha Rani Bishaya is an actress in Assamese cinema, also active in the mobile theatre groups of Assam and known as a Bihu dancer. She has appeared in popular VCD films, hosted television shows and acted in serials and telefilms.
She made her debut in 1998 in Joubone Aamoni Kore. In 2009 she acted in Hiren Baruah's Basundhara, a film that won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Assamese at the 57th National Film Awards. Her other films in our database include Tomar Khabar, Poley Poley Ure Mon, Khel: The Game, Tumi Aahibane, Raktabeez, Tandab of Pandab and Ratnakar. Tumi Aahibane (2017) and Ratnakar (2019) both did well at the box office.
