Advitya

Principal production began in 2018, and the first official teaser appeared in June 2019. A serious setback followed when the makers lost the original shoot footage along with all its backups after multiple system failures, putting the producer and director through a heavy emotional and financial strain.

Arindam Sharma then decided to reshoot the whole film from scratch. He said in an interview with The Hindu that only Niha Rani Das and Bikash Bora agreed to return, so the rest of the cast was replaced. Television actor Arnab Ayan joined and was cast in the lead. In this second phase the screenplay was given more action sequences. Shooting resumed in early 2020, but the COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020 disrupted the second schedule and forced a wait of several months. The shoot was completed in October and November 2020. The film contains more than 350 VFX shots. Cinematography was by Arindam Sharma together with Kailash Duwara and Nasirul Hussain.

The film has two songs, sung by Dikshu Sharma and Sanchita Sharma respectively.

The film opened in theatres across Assam on 7 April 2023.

In Arindam Sharma's filmography, Advitya came after AVR (2020).
