Production নিৰ্মাণ
In Mangaldai, then a very underdeveloped town, football-loving young men formed the United Club, and their wish to try something new grew into the idea of a feature film. Assam then had little film infrastructure and every task required a trip to Kolkata, but an enthusiastic young man, Samarendra Narayan Dev, led the dream. Money was raised from donations by local people, so that the producer was effectively the entire town regardless of caste, creed or religion. The film made two firsts for India: a full-length film produced from public donations, and a film completed under a club's supervision. Samarendra Narayan Dev directed, the music is by Sudhin Dasgupta, and the project was produced by Mangaldai United Production.
