Ahetuk

Raj and Joyeeta are two passionate journalists who set out to get at the truth of a story, even putting their lives at risk. In the end, to their surprise, they find they have been used by vested interests. What they do next is something no one could predict. The film is billed as a search for meaning in the things we chase and the nothingness we often hit.

Bani Das, a veteran director known for Assamese hits including Maharathi, Mon and Kadambari, directed the film, with Gunjan Bhardwaj and Amrita Gogoi in the leads and Tapan Das in an important role. Raj Kumar Jain produced.

It was released on 2 January 2015.

In Bani Das's filmography, Ahetuk came after Mon (2002) and Kaadambari (2004).
