Dinesh Das (born 5 October 1941) is an Assamese actor of stage, radio, television and film. He began acting at school in Nagaon and went on to play in plays directed by figures such as Sarada Kanta Bordoloi and Prafulla Barua, winning best actor honours at several competitions. He worked in a medical sales job and then at the National Textile Corporation before retiring in 1995.

His film career began in 1968 with Abdul Majid's Morom Trishna, where he played a quarry worker. He then appeared in Manav Aru Danav, Sesh Bichar, Anutap, Meghmukti and many others. He has also acted in more than four hundred radio plays and written for newspapers and in books.

His honours include an artist's pension from the Assam government, a special honour from Jyotirupa, the Natasurya Prafulla Barua award, and the Promothesh Barua lifetime achievement award of the state film awards in 2026.
