Biography জীৱনী
Dhrubajyoti Phukan, widely known as DJ Phukan, is a music director, producer, arranger and programmer born in Dibrugarh on 17 June 1964. He studied mechanical engineering at the Assam Engineering College and works mainly in Hindi and Assamese cinema.
He made his debut as a music director with Stumped (2003) and won the National Film Award for best music direction in the non-feature category for the Hindi short Panchakki. His Assamese work centres on two films by Jahnu Barua, Baandhon (2012) and Ajeyo (2014), both of which won the National Film Award for best Assamese feature film.

২০০৩ চনত ষ্টাম্পড ছবিৰ জৰিয়তে তেওঁ সংগীত পৰিচালক হিচাপে আত্মপ্ৰকাশ কৰে আৰু হিন্দী চুটিছবি পনচক্কীৰ সংগীত পৰিচালনাৰ বাবে ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয় চলচ্চিত্ৰ বঁটা লাভ কৰে। অসমীয়া চলচ্চিত্ৰত তেওঁৰ কাম মূলতঃ জাহ্নু বৰুৱাৰ দুখন ছবিত: বান্ধোন (২০১২) আৰু অজেয় (২০১৪)। দুয়োখন ছবিয়ে শ্ৰেষ্ঠ অসমীয়া ছবিৰ ৰাষ্ট্ৰীয় চলচ্চিত্ৰ বঁটা লাভ কৰিছিল।
