Madhu Ambat is a cinematographer who works mainly in Malayalam and Tamil cinema, with a career of more than four decades and three National Film Awards for Best Cinematography. His link to Assamese cinema is one credit as cinematographer, on Ekhon Nedekha Nodir Xhipare (2012).
