Biography জীৱনী
Anupama Bhattacharjya (1928-2022), often called the Meena Kumari of Assam, was a pioneering Assamese actress of stage, radio, film and television. Born in Sivasagar into the Bezbaruah family, she loved dance, music and films from childhood.
She entered cinema through Siraj (1948), where she played Fatema; accepting the offer led to her family being ostracised. Over her career she acted in about fourteen films, among them Natun Prithibi, Manab aru Danab, Sarapaat, Rangdhali, Mon aru Morom and Biplobi. The Fita database lists her in Adalat (1976). She also spent two years with the Natraj Theatre, working in plays such as Sirajuddoula and Bhogjora, and served as a radio announcer.
Her honours included the Kalaguru Bishnu Rabha Award, the Aideu Handique Award and the Promothesh Chandra Barua Award for lifetime achievement. She died in Guwahati on 30 January 2022.
অসমৰ মীনা কুমাৰী নামে খ্যাত অনুপমা ভট্টাচাৰ্য (১৯২৮-২০২২) আছিল মঞ্চ, অনাতাঁৰ, চলচ্চিত্ৰ আৰু দূৰদৰ্শনৰ এগৰাকী গুৰিধৰোঁতা অসমীয়া অভিনেত্ৰী। শিৱসাগৰত বেজবৰুৱা পৰিয়ালত জন্ম লোৱা তেওঁ সৰুৰে পৰা নাচ, গান আৰু চিনেমাৰ প্ৰতি আগ্ৰহী আছিল।

কলাগুৰু বিষ্ণু ৰাভা বঁটা, আইদেউ সন্দিকৈ বঁটা আৰু জীৱনজোৰা সাধনাৰ বাবে প্ৰমথেশ চন্দ্ৰ বৰুৱা বঁটা তেওঁ লাভ কৰিছিল। ২০২২ চনৰ ৩০ জানুৱাৰীত গুৱাহাটীত তেওঁৰ মৃত্যু হয়।
